Fulfilling Your Calling as an Evangelist

Fulfilling Your Calling as an Evangelist is a worthwhile read. The calling of an evangelist is distinct, yet many who are called to be evangelists today function instead as pastors. It is far more common to hear someone say, “I’m a pastor,” than “I’m an evangelist.” Why is this the case? Numerous factors contribute, including spiritual ignorance, blindness, disobedience, or the perceived unpopularity of the evangelist’s calling. I pray that God will open our spiritual eyes to recognise the vital importance of the office of an evangelist. I believe that, like other ministry gifts, an evangelist carries one of the most challenging divine assignments on Earth. Their ministry is primarily a field ministry—it requires consistent outreach. God does not call everyone to be a pastor; there is a specific reason why some are called to be evangelists instead. Therefore, we must be grateful to God for whatever calling He has placed in our hands. Our utmost priority is to be faithful to the callings endowed upon us in Christ Jesus! I encourage every child of God, Bible college student, minister of the Gospel, or anyone intending to plant God’s work, to acquire this book; your life will be profoundly impacted. May God bless you in Jesus’ name!
